Plant Care Guide

Full Sunlight

Lighting

Place your Oriental Lily in an East or South facing window so they can receive at least half a day of direct sunlight.

Frequent Watering

Watering

Oriental Lilies need a regular watering to keep their soil moist especially prior to flowering beautifully in August but make sure not to over-water because these plants don’t like having wet roots.

Well-Draining

Soil

Oriental lilies love moist, well-draining, and slightly acidic soil. They benefit from compost or other organic matters added to their pots. Oriental Lillies do not require fertilization but if you wish to add, we recommend a 10-10-10 fertilizer.

High Humidity

Humidity

Lilies thrive in all climate conditions found in their hardiness zone range 4-9, if soil conditions are suitable, but they truly thrive in hot conditions. The best blooms are achieved in midsummer conditions where temperatures consistently reach 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Toxic to Cats

Additional Notes

If your lily is large, you can stake your plant to give it more support to not flop over.
