Sage and Brown Butter Fettuccine

This Sage and Brown Butter Fettuccine makes a quick and easy dinner that everyone will love. Fresh sage is cooked in golden brown melted butter and ready in 20 minutes!

 

Yield per plant: about 2 batches

Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb. fettuccine

½ cup butter

25-30 Rocket Farms fresh sage leaves

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and cook fettuccine according to package.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet. Once melted, add sage and cook until butter is golden brown and sage curls. When pasta is done reserve ¾ cup of pasta water and drain. Add pasta to butter mixture and stir to coat noodles.
  3. Add pasta water and stir until some of the water absorbs in the noodles. Stir in cheese until the sauce becomes creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
